The world's largest rock garden (2349 square meters.) This is located inside Kongobuji Temple, built in 1593. The garden's design is a pair of dragons emerging from a sea of clouds to protect Koya. The dragons are made of 140 pieces of granite brought from Shikoku and the white sand is from Kyoto, both locations are hundreds of miles away, and across enormous mountain ranges.
