Not exactly a Christmas tree. This over-loaded bamboo tree is covered in colorful prayers for the July 7th holiday, in which two star-crossed lovers seperated across the distance of the milkey way, grant the wishes and prayers of hard-working Japanese citizens, if the sun shines brightly on the 7th.

Update: Monsoon thunder and lightening so intense today, grade schools were cancelled. I guess he lover's won't be granting my wishes for world peace and tasty fat free chocolate...
