Mo's Journey

I was lost and left to find myself - this is the note I left behind for anyone who comes a lookin for me.

After hours of travel by subway, train, and bus...
Mo: "Yamazaki Sensei, why did ancient people build the temples so far away in the mountains, when most of the common people were rice farmers in the valley? It doesn't seem practical to make the shrines so inaccessible"
Yamazaki: "Hmmm... I don't really know the answer for this question. All I can say, is that there is something holy in the mountains."
********************
At the foot of a great shrine...
Mo:"Sensei..."
Yamazaki: "Yes, Mo-san?"
Mo: "I understand now."
