Then suddenly - Alpha Male.
Made a noise no human can recreate.
Didn't shit myself.
Came close.
He leapt straight up onto the car, and all the other little monkeys got the hell outta his way. With superb timing, crazy Japanese tourist guy ran out of European pasties just in time for Alpha Male's arrival. Alpha Male began POUNDING on the door and windshield of the Hyundai (er, whatever) and I went from feeling as giddy as a little girl to running like one! Seriously, mad dash (left Drew in the dust like a real yellow-belly) and got a wicked adrenaline rush in the process!
The whole way back down the mountain Drew and I were high-fiving, shaky-kneed, dorks! It was every bit as awesome as it sounds.
