Stating The Obvious

The other day I was talking with a foreigner friend of mine, and she told me about someone she knew who had lived in Africa for an extended amount of time. She said that when her friend got home, and began looking through her pictures, she realized that she had failed to take pictures of so many of the interesting little things that defined her community - like women carrying baskets on their heads, or children playing barefoot in dusty streets. So, walking home today I took pictures of everything "Japanese-ee" I saw on my way. This stuff is waaay commonplace for most residents, but it might help me reminisce when I get back home and look back at these pictures.
This here, is my favorite tacoyaki stand! Don't you just loved the dazed and confused octopus?
