These type of Japanese gargoyles are all over the Japanese temples, I can't believe it took me so long to snap a picture of one. It's funny, but after a while you begin to think to yourself things like "Who really needs another picture of a Buddhist monk?" or "Really, I have enough shots of temples that are only three hundred years old..." Acclimation I suppose.
