"What animal does my face look like?"

Today I gave a presentation for Itoigawa sensei's psychology senior seminar. He asked me to bring an example of my previous work, and all that I could think of was my "NCBI Healing White Racism" Powerpoint presentation from SMC.
Ok, if it was difficult to explain in-depth sociological concepts like "Subversive racism" to a student population with a 30% diversity rate, and people with whom I shared a common language; it was near impossible to fully illustrate those same concepts to an audience that comes from a 99% racially homogonous society - in their secondary language. I have no idea if anything I made any sense to anyone, but you can't blame me for trying, right?
Afterwards we all had tea and great discussions in Itoigawa sensei's office. At one point in time Sayori (far right) asked me "What animal does my face look like?"
Now, how do you respond to that, seriously? I wasn't sure if there was some major content lost in translation, or if she was just one sandwich short of a picnic. I responded by smiling, "wakarimasen" (i don't understand) and desperately hoping I wasn't a few sentences away from some awful foreigner faux paus (like calling a nice Japanese girl "cowface" or some other such inappropriate name.)
Sayori went on to explain that it is customary for many parents to give their children pet names - like really PET names. Ahhhhhh... "Ok, in that case you look like a guppy." Sayori, "Wrong! I'm a rice-cake super hero." Ahhhh... (I thought she asked me for an animal - sometimes you just can't win these games).
I went on to explain that I was known in a few crowds (now, don't laugh) as Momo-manatee. I had to draw a picture, which really looked like a twinky with whiskers, but Itoigawa sensei put it in his glass display shelf all the same - I think that 's almost the same as having your Mom put a paper plate covered in macaroni, paste, and tempra paint, on the refrigerator.
But really, what animal does my face look like?
