mo, the social worker?

The other day at crisis clinic I learned about the University of Washington's Masters in Social Work Program, and I became very interested. The most appealing aspects of the program are that:
1) They entire program is offered at the UW Tacoma extension campus, which would mean I could stay in the Olympia area and not need to move to Seattle (stay close to friend's, family, community, the mountain's and the bay, and not pay Seattle housing prices),
2) The program is a three year intensive, year-round, night-study courseload, and most students are able to work full time while taking classes (I could actually be a self-supporting college grad?) and
3) This is the best part of all - The program has a special scholarship called the CWTAP, wherein the program provides Title IV-E stipend money (usually a fully tuition waiver-let me repeat that- FULL TUITION WAIVER) and special training to MSW students desiring to work in public child welfare. In exchange, the student is guaranteed job placement within 90 days of graduation, and then signs a 2-year employment contract with theWashington State Department of Social Health Services, Children's Division.

Basically, it is a program that guarantees me a job with the state (medical, dental coverage and a 401K) a masters degree, and a career that accommodates my life interests such as in social justice work, improving the lives of children, bettering my community- all before the age of 25! I would still have time to travel, even if only for one or two weeks between semesters. I have a I have already contacted the information coordinator, and applications are due March 1st.

It's a little scary, but... what if I actually figured out what I wanted to do with myself after graduation?
