Ever since I was a young girl attending mass these incense-laden halls, this has always been my favorite piece of stained glass. The rest of the window's are pictographic representations of biblical stories (each of the window's is about 15-20 feet high and about 5-10 feet wide) but this window (maybe 30 feet high and proportionately wide) , hidden in the darkest most secret level of the alter, is simply just color and light. More than images of Adam and Eve, or Jesus on the cross, Judas, Mary, more than all of the other inspiring icons, this window represents the feelings of faith in God to me. Just beautiful color and light.
