CALLING ALL OLY FOLKS!

This is a shout out to my Oly crew!
SMC is in need of some host families ASAP!
Considering all unbelievably generous hospitality I have been shown over the past three months, I think it would be really awesome if some of my friends and family showed the same hospitality to a Japanese student in return.
Why, even Grammy could hug and feed a quite little MWU girl and pretend she is me. (Not that I am ever clean or quiet...) They will be amazed by the size of your homes! they will bring you wonderful gifts! They are the best houseguests you could ask for! These students are the nicest, cleanest, more generous people you could imagine meeting, I mean it.
Even if YOU can't host a student, print this out and post it in a staff room, or circulate it amongst friends and neighbors!
Just think about how sad I would have been if I came all the way to Japan, and no one invited me to share their home and culture? If I didn't have so much as a bed to sleep in? Let's see of we in the USA can't match the hospitality I have been shown here in Japan, right?

If you have a bedroom with at least a double bed, you can host a student!
We are still in need of 33 host families so please lend your help and support. Check your calendar and if you can host students this summer, fill out the application and return it to the Office of International Programs ASAP!
