"all the freaky people make the beauty of the world"

Friday night April and I got really dolled up and went to see this totally awesome Brazilian jam band at the 4th Ave. These guys were so great - check out there sight!

There were five musicians, but each of them played EVERYTHING. This one guy would be honking on a sax one minute, chuck it off stage, then start workin up his flute, chuck that aside, then be jamming on a clarinet before you even realized what had happened. They had percussion instruments that could have been from a Dr. Seuss book (imagine a drum tree...) and the effect was - perfectly LOUD. Most of the songs were in Brazilian (is that a language?) and completely addictive. They even brought out a festival style whistle for the encore! Oly sure can get a pretty hot scene every full moon or so...

It took a little bit of poking and prodding, but after I got April out dancing with the hippies, she was in heaven. There might just be hope for her yet. I bought a pair of super sexy knee-high (fake) leather boots, and looked so hot - it would have put my dear old mother to shame. I love, love, love - funkadelic bar room dancing~
