Hangin' out with Kan's fam for a homestay this weekend. Kanako lives on Roku Island, home to many a Gaijin (foreigner). The brilliant yellow dot in the middle of this picture is Leon the cat, and his refelective little cat -eye.
What 's really great, is that Leon pronounced with a Japanese accent is like "Reehron" which just made me laugh every time someone called out to this neurotic furball (cats in Japan are as equally paranoid and skittish as ours back home - miss you Pity Kitty!)
