Take the IAT tests for sexuality.
Each test takes 7-10 minutes.
After you complete the IAT's, please feel free to come back here and leave a comment...
Do you think the IAT is an accurate way to measure implicit stereotypes - why or why not?
Did your IAT results surprise you?
Did the test results accurately reflect where you envision yourself in society?

Apparently I'm quite homophobic.
I have to laugh...
I'm glad that psychological researchers are experimenting with the medium of the internet, but as with most new mediums - initial trial may be inherently flawed.
I got "slight preference for straight people," which kinda suprised me because I don't think I have any preference . . . So I'll have to agree with Mo that it may be slightly flawed.
I have not automatic preference for gay or straight people. I guess I just love everyone. I personally don't think that it's a very accurate test. I know that I got distracted by my roommate (who's gay, by the way) and that delayed my reaction time. It is correct for me though.
